SEMI PERMANENT EYEBROWS

Having sweat proof, waterproof and smudge proof brows lasting 2-3 years can be life changing.

The appointment time can vary from 2-3 hours.

The treatment will start with an in-depth consultation where we will discuss your expectations, how you want your brows and work together to create your individual brow template. We will also discuss the perfect brow colour, taking into consideration the tone and colour of your natural skin, hair and eyes. We will then measure and draw up a template of your brows whilst looking at the shape of your face and your natural eyebrows. This is done using numerous measuring and drawing techniques.

Which Procedure Is Right For Me ?

Microblading

The treatment itself uses a fine blade tool, made up of tiny needles and pigment to place fine hair strokes throughout the brow. The aim to create semi-permanent fuller looking natural brows.

To do this the blade tool will infuse the pigment lightly into the top layer of your skin, mimicking the natural brow hairs and shape creating your desired effect. Microblading is perfect for those who don’t tend to wear eyebrow make up and are wanting to make their natural brows fuller or to fill small gaps. Microblading tends to last 1-2 years, and due to the trauma to the skin touch ups will be limited to keep the skin health at its best.

Ombre Brow/ Powder brow

The Ombre Brow is designed to create a natural and soft looking brow. Rather than using a block colour throughout the entire brow, the Ombre Brow technique uses a soft diluted colour at the front of the brow and then slowly increases the gradient to produce a darker colour at the tail of the brow. The result: a soft, misty and fluffy finish which compliments the natural shape and colour of the brow, giving it great depth and definition.  The Ombre Brow technique will heal to reveal very natural results which last up to three years, providing aftercare is carried out correctly. The Ombre Brow is not only the perfect technique for creating a natural looking brow but can be tailored to suit the needs for each individual client.

Instead of mimicking hair strokes and using fine lines, the Ombre Brow technique uses a machine to utilise dots of pigments instead, more in line with traditional tattooing. These small dots allow colour to gradually build up to reveal a more desirable ombre effect.

Combo Brow

The Combo Brow is a combination of both the above techniques. With microbladed hairstrokes to give that fluffy front and then a powder/ombre brow for the main body of the brow to give that definition.

A skin test is required 24-48 prior to the procedure. I will also ask you to fill out a medical form to ensure this treatment can be performed safely.

GENERAL POST PROCEDURE INFORMATION

In order to keep your permanent cosmetic work in perfect condition it may be necessary to have a maintenance procedure about every 9 to 18 months, though this will vary for each individual. The cost of these procedures vary depending on the time since last treatment.  Please see current price list for details.

To avoid pigment fade for as long as possible, avoid excessive exposure to the sun or UV rays and use a good sunscreen with an SPF50.

If you are planning an MRI scan, chemical peel or any other similar procedures, please inform your practitioner that you have had permanent cosmetics.

You should not be eligible to give blood for 6 months after your procedure, please inform the National Blood Service of your procedure and date if you want to give blood.

If you are planning injections such as Botox and Collagen remember it can alter the shape of your eyebrows.

Laser hair removal can fade and change the shade of your semi-permanent make up, always advice the laser technician you are wearing permanent cosmetics and they can act accordingly.

All treatments can be mildly uncomfortable, with a sensation similar to that of threading or tweezing. Numbing cream will be used to keep the procedure as comfortable as possible. Treatments are performed using disposable sterile tools, and high standard pigments.

Semi Permanent Make Up is a two phase treatment, meaning the top up is very important. Every one will retain pigment differently depending on skin type and lifestyles. For example pigment will last a shorter amount of time with oily skin and if exposed to sun and sweat. Correction can also be done at the touch up appointment if amendments need to be made with shape and colour.

This touch up will be £40 and will need to be booked within 4-6 weeks of the initial treatment date. Any additional touch ups will also be an additional cost.

Semi permanent brows will heal up to 50% lighter giving a much softer, natural looking finish.
